A man with everything beside the one thing he needs

Class, elegance, glitter, glamour and bewilderment. Words which can all relate to one mans glory and tragedy all at once.Drinking, dancing and mystery. One name comes to mind, Jay Gatsby. To whoever is reading... Have you ever sat down with a book and not been able to put it down, not because it was idealistically a good book, but because of the beauty of the words, the way the author flows with the writing. When a writer captures the images and elegance of characters and you feel like you are part of their world, living within the characters space, feeling their emotion. I feel like F.Scott Fitzgerald did this in his portrayal of Jay Gatsby and the way he saw his lifelong love Daisy. He saw her in the same way he had always seen her, with all the beauty , the daintiness about her and for the young girl he had once known and fallen in love with. His life representing the way in which he loved her because of the man he had become because of her. The portrayal of the extravagance of his parties that he has in hopes that one day Daisy would attend, shines through the pages opening the hope to the reader. But i could go on for ages about the life and tragedy of Mr Jay Gatsby and the book The Great Gatsby as a whole, but i think ill leave it to you to read and explore the history, drama and crimes of this amazing novel.
